Don’t Thank Me

Six Sentence Sunday is here again, a time when:

  • You pick six (6) sentences from anything you’ve written–a work in progress (wip), something under submission, something sold; something new, something old.
  • You sign up at the Six Sunday website Tuesday starting at 6PM EST.
  • You post it on Sunday (along with posting a link of suxisunday.com)! Such as I have below.
  • And then you enjoy.

Last week Zoe found that Ethan Saar, royal advisor, though helping himself, is still helping her more than anything else. And that she should be grateful. Of course, she thanks him. Saar doesn’t quite like that. Below: his response.

“Don’t thank me,” he said coolly, “because you still don’t understand even half of it.”

“I know this could kill me.”

“And a lot of other people,” he added in, almost offhandedly.

“What do you mean?”

“This is what I’m talking about: you’re not thinking about this thoroughly. Your actions are going to ripple out much further than you, much further than even Zephyr City; though, you better believe this is going to drag them into the war as well.”

Next week: explanation of what Saar is talking about. Until then: get more Six Sunday goodness here.

  1. Ugh, computer issues last week. I did make it around to read, just wasn’t able to comment. Things all better this week so I can leave my “mark”. “Calculating” snippet today. ;) I do so enjoy a man who gets the big picture!

    Keep up the terrific work.

Argh! Worpress log in is being a royal pain. Let’s try twitter account. :(

    1. I’m sorry you’ve had so many issues with the computer/blog commenting. Here’s to hoping signing into Twitter worked out! Glad you enjoyed the snippet and happy to see you back. :)
