I don’t want to run (I don’t want to leave)

For the last subtly creepy Music Monday of the wonderful month of October, we’re going to artist Little Dragon for a haunting ditty called “Blinking Pigs.” It’s not nearly as spooky as some of the other songs, but there’s an obsessive quality about it, a spectral feel that’s just eerie. Not to mention the jarring notes that lead you in, the ghostly echoes of the lead’s voice.

  1. I usually listen to these without watching the video first and I’m glad I did this time, too. The song is oddly haunting, as you said, but my visuals for it don’t match the video at all! :)

    1. Some days it’s hard to decide which way to go with it; and one can ruin the other, in a way. Haha. Glad that you chose the right path. It’s an odd band and an odd song, but there’s something about it…thanks, Sarah. :)
