joelgreenart:

The second Japanese monster portrait Imade was more elegant and tasteful than the first one. This time I gave the
subject traditional Japanese kimono mixed with modern-day Goth elements, and
keeping with the monster-theme I gave him purple octopus tentacles and a flower
branch harpoon impaled through his torso. You’ll also notice the colour of the
blood is pink, just to make you aware that this is a monster with non-human
blood and the only colour I love and use the most in my work.

Media used: HB pencil, biro pen, Photoshop
