“Minority Report”

As a child, I never questioned the ethnicity of the characters that I read about. I didn’t think about it at all, really. But as I got older, I started to question a lot of things in my life, including what I read. And what I didn’t read. What I didn’t read a lot of was characters that looked like me. It didn’t seem like a big deal until I realized, well, it might be. To explore this thought, I’ve asked other authors their thoughts on minority/mixed race characters and authors.
